Kraig as CEO Coach

Kraig Kramers coaches CEOs and their teams on rapid, profitable growth of their companies using business tools he has proven personally as CEO as well as with thousands of other CEOs. Kraig's coaching takes the form of CEO and management team consulting, active board membership, facilitation of strategic planning as well as acquisition implementation. Kraig is a highly qualified CEO coach, having been CEO of eight different businesses in widely diverse industries. He is an experienced executive who has had several spectacular successes and a few phenomenal failures. Paraphrasing Winston Churchill: "I'm always willing to learn but not usually willing to be taught." Failures are often the very best teachers!

To keep current, Kraig speaks internationally on a broad range of business subjects, offering audiences a unique view of what makes companies, managers and leaders successful. His topics include business tools that dramatically accelerate profitable business growth, tools for doing acquisitions that work and ways to strategically position companies for success. As speaker, Kraig is challenged in his talks to CEOs, universities and management groups over 100 times each year.

Kraig has run eight companies, negotiated over 70 acquisitions, been on three-dozen boards of directors / advisors, and consulted with over 1,000 companies. Obviously, he addresses topics that he has personally experienced many times over.

At one point, Kraig shepherded a whirlwind turnaround at Snapper (lawnmowers) from a $54 million loss in one year to a profit of over $13 million the next — and this during a major recession in an industry undergoing long-term decline.

Companies that Kraig has grown at multiples of their industries' sales and profit performance include: Metro One Telecommunications, Graphic Arts Center Printing, Guarantee Insurance, Snapper Lawnmowers, Courtesy Coffee, and Munson Sporting Goods. At Graphic Arts Center Printing, he guided this company's growth from $60 million annual sales to $120 million in just four years while the industry grew at single-digit annual rates.

Today, Kraig is president of Corporate Partners Inc., the leading business-acceleration consulting firm based in Atlanta. He coaches CEOs and management teams on running their businesses more successfully at high speed.

Kraig is actively involved with TEC (The Executive Committee), the premier organization for continuing CEO education, where he has been a frequent speaker for 20 years and active member 15 years.. Kraig also stays current by serving on ten boards of directors/advisors, including not-for-profits. He's an acknowledged authority on creating, improving and joining boards. Kraig has a BS in physics from MIT and an MBA in marketing and finance from Stanford University.
