Kraig as Strategy Coach

Kraig Kramers leads and facilitates the development of strategic plans that work. As strategic coach and facilitator more than a dozen times each year, he guides CEOs and executive teams to develop strategies that succeed. Kraig led corporate planning for a Fortune 500 company for many years. He's followed that success with hundreds of strategy facilitations for small to mid-size North American businesses. He coaches senior executives and CEOs on rapid, profitable growth of their companies using business tools he has proven personally as CEO as well as in practice with thousands of other managers. Kraig's coaching takes the form of strategic planning facilitation, management training seminars, top management consulting, active board membership and acquisition implementation.

His topics include business tools that dramatically accelerate profitable business growth, tools for doing acquisitions that work and ways to strategically position companies for success. As speaker, Kraig talks to CEOs, universities and management groups over 100 times each year.

Supporting his strategic skills, Kraig has been CEO of eight companies, negotiated over 70 acquisitions, been on three-dozen boards of directors/advisors, and consulted with over 1,000 companies. Obviously, he addresses topics that he personally experiences often.

At one point, Kraig shepherded an incredible turnaround at Snapper (lawnmowers) from a $54 million loss in one year to a profit of over $13 million the next — and this occurred during a major recession in an industry undergoing long-term decline.

Companies that Kraig has grown at multiples of their industries' performance include: Metro One Telecommunications, Graphic Arts Center Printing, Guarantee Insurance, Snapper Lawnmowers, Courtesy Coffee, and Munson Sporting Goods. At Graphic Arts Center, he guided the growth of this printing company from $60 million annual sales to $120 million in just four years while the industry grew at single-digit rates.

Today, Kraig is president of Corporate Partners Inc., the leading business-acceleration consulting firm based in Atlanta. He coaches CEOs and management teams on running their businesses more successfully at high speed.

Kraig also currently serves on 10 company boards of directors/advisors and is an acknowledged authority on creating, improving and joining boards. He is an active member of TEC (The Executive Committee) and affiliated with the Association for Corporate Growth.

Kraig has a BS in physics from MIT and an MBA in marketing and finance from Stanford University.
